The WZL tool machine laboratory at RWTH Aachen University is an institute for teaching and research in production technology within the discipline of mechanical engineering. Research projects related to fundamentals as well as projects targeted at the requirements of the industry are carried out in six different research areas. In addition, practice-oriented solutions are developed for the streamlining of production. The day-to-day work of the writing team involves future-oriented research into production technology.

However, blockchain is about much more than digital currency: It’s about guaranteeing confidence in data, ensuring the immutability of data, and resource-saving, localized storage systems and networks.
